Difference Between PPV and CPV?

I know that PPC stands for Pay Per Click. I think that means you pay every time somebody clicks on your ad, but might be the other way around.

They are both the same but PPV is Pay Per Click, CPV is Cost Per View, just depends on how you use these terms.

It's no different than PPC, and CPC.

I'm affraid that PPV/CPV is very, very different than PPC/CPC.

PPV - Pay per View
CPV - Cost per View
They both describing the same type of traffic.

This traffic is interruptive, comes from pop ups, pop uders, visitors does NOT have to click on anything to see the landing page.
Comes from adware software, or scripts installed on websites.

On the other hand:
PPC/CPC - is basically Pay per Click, or Cost per Click
to see your landing page visitors HAVE TO click on ad (text or banner), they are willinging viewing your landing page.

Two completelly different traffic sources :)

PPV and CPV are the same

Pay Per View is more common when your buying traffic.
Cost Per View is more common when your selling traffic.

But overall they're the same metric.
