Building a rapport with your Affiliate... what's your views??

Hi All,

I am new to Internet Marketing/Affiliate Marketing and was just wondering how important is it to build a rapport with your affiliate(s)

You both want the sell... right?? so would it make sense to discuss marketing ideas and so forth with your affiliate - or is this just not what happens...

What's everyone's view on this topic??

Have any of you built a relationship with your affiliates that have led to more sales??

Thanks for bringing up a great topic!

All affiliates are different and some don't want to connect much. However I think it's a great idea to try to build rapport and open the door for that.

One affiliate manager that was a clinet of mine back in 2006 had a great strategy.. He basically offered affiliates a free marketing consultation which I thought was super smart. Here's a post about it.

It certainly has got the marketing wheels turning in my brain

A great way to succeed in business, do the opposite to what others are doing by sending an encouraging message.
