There are people still making tons of money from it so no I don't think it is dead, I don't think it will be dead for a long time if ever.

You could say it might be more saturated but if you work hard you can beat the competition.

NOT!

It is stronger than ever. More advertisers and more geographic locations than ever are driving the need for affiliates. There are an abundance of Newbies in the business compared to years back, however, most come into the business looking for a turn key business with no investment. Those affiliates die on the vine rapidly.

If you invest properly, learn to be an incredible researcher, and take the time to actually learn through implementation, then you are going to make it!
