You're right!

It's a tie between Thrash and Death metal for me, but I am voting DEATH because I absolutely love Opeth.

That is pretty true. Especially Hell Awaits. I still like Slayer's later albums like Christ illusion and God Hates us all. Its so aggressive and fast.

Hell yeah. Dystopia's album art was by far the most different from all their album art. You can still hear the old megadeth tune which i still bang my head to. Favorite track from this album is "Fatal Illusion" plus they have Lamb of God's Chris Adler on the drums which is really awwesome.
