Ads aren't showing up half the time...

My advertisement is showing up half the time (adwords). I do have my ad pointing to a one page site - but it is relevent. I did bump up my PPC from $1 to $2 - even though I don't have any competition w/ in the sponsored links category (read this on Google Help).

Just wondering what I'm doing wrong?

Is your daily budget set too low? Do you have it set to give you all the clicks at once or spread over time? There's some sort of setting like that in account set up. I haven't been in there for awhile so not sure I'm using the exact terminology.

Hey Linda:

Just wanted to tell ya that increasing my daily budget did work. I'm at numero uno in a good niche and my CPC isn't that bad! I do organic SEO - this really is my first "PPC client" - so the client is happy too. Also - my ctr is pretty good.
