Gotta be honest with you guys
when it comes to SEO
I really do know my shit (yup --> that's called bragging)
yeah not sayin Im an expert or a guru
but time and time again
proved I can create affiliate site from absolute zero
and drive traffic from Google from day 1
into hundreds or thousands of daily visits
using simple SEO methods Google says to use
plus an arsenal of white hat tips & tricks Ive learned
and all of that is happy & fluffy
however it doesnt equal commission
& commission is what I need now
so from tomorrow am gonna publish my earnings again
gonna be real low at 1st
pathetically low

2. identified a hero product for each site
3. scheduled checking all pages have unique meta title + H1 + meta description
4. identified a key competitor for each site

Why has it gone downhill for you? Any idea?

1. SEO and search engine referral got very fickle --SERPS really started to vary a lot unless you were a brand.
2. The economic situation has shifted and changed a lot so far this year too.
3. I am seeing radical under-counts when cookies are involved
   So if you are using any networks; that may be a part of the problem 3rd party cookies and privacy.
   Amazon is a first party seller so that should not be the issue there.

Pride comes before the fall
visits to my 1st fashion site dropped 95% after summer

1. it wasnt summer any more
2. wasnt updating prices
3. didnt post often enough
4. all my analytics stats declined
5. competitors overtook my position
6. many many broken links
7. my new site ads for products $50 or $100 (old site $5 or $10 or $20)

1st affiliate campaign was bright green
so was my personal motivation
this is my 1st real fail as an affiliate
one major lesson -->
hunt for the impulse buyer
& give them a deal thats too good to refuse
I went away from my green campaign lessons
and paid the heavy price

• smashed through 1,000 visits Friday
• 4 consecutive days of 1,000 plus visits
• 1st affiliate commissions of 2022 (2nd fashion site)
• each banner click worth between $2 & $5 commission
  • means I need 8 or 10 sales to meet commission targets
    • $2 daily commission x 10 sites = $20 daily total
      • $600 monthly (pays project costs only)

• posting like a crazy person (& too many spelling mistakes!)
• when you go for bigger AOV you need MORE SEO TRAFFIC
• lower AOV needs less SEO traffic (from my limited experience)
