Those two A2 packages you mentioned are in fact shared hosting. It is a horrible idea to go to shared hosting from VPS. Why take step backward. No sane person would suggest something like this. Unless of course they get something in return.
I suggest you moving to a better VPS provider. I...
Bluehost is good. But they have a modified cPanel. Not that I'll ever look back at shared hosting again. But I personally prefer traditional cPanel hosting providers. Like Hostgator and Fatcaw.
VPS these days ain't that expensive. You can get a 1GB RAM server for $5 per month from most...
I second that. Small VPS with nginx and some sort of cache is the way to go. Put it behind cloudflare and it'll handle insane amount of traffic.
But you may also use a CDN if you're using HTML landing pages. Here's an article I wrote about couple years ago.

First of all I'm sorry to have missed this interesting discussion. I don't have much experience with CloudWays. I think it's a great service. But it's not for everyone. If you're looking to host a personal blog let's say a WordPress blog, CloudWays is a great choice. Because they give a ready to...
It's not about KeyCDN, it's any CDN vs Cloudflare. On a CDN network, you can create a Push Zone and host a whole HTML website without having to pay for any other hosting. You can't really do that with Cloudflare, can you?
Cloudflare is not a full CDN. It acts more like a proxy to your website. The one I prefer is KeyCDN. Use my aff link to get $10 credit. And here's the tutorial if you're going to host landing pages on KeyCDN,

This is true of out of box WordPress. But you can optimize WordPress for performance. And there are even methods to server WordPress pages as HTML pages. So I don't agree, with right optimization WordPress could be as fast as HTML pages. But each method has it's own pros and cons.
WordPress is easy to use. A person without any coding knowledge can create a landing page with WordPress. And there are so many options and so many features.
HTML pages in other hand, needs some coding knowledge to create. It has limited features and Wordress.
The domain registrar is not important. Any registrar will work. If you're using HTML landing pages, a CDN is the better option. I caches your page on multiple edge servers and deliver from the server nearest to the end user. This greatly improves the speed. You can find more about it on my HTML...
If you don't have a control panel, these are two methods you can use to connect to your VPS.
How to Connect to a Linux VPS over SSH with PuTTY/FileZilla
I would say right away. Speed is really important for mobile traffic. You can take chances with desktop traffic, but shared hosting will be too slow for mobile devices. You can use a cost effective setup like below if you don't have the budget,
Install Virtualmin, Nginx 1.10, PHP 7, MariaDB 10...
Yes definitely, and CDN is more than just hosting. It'll also do some basic optimizing like gzip compression, image optimization etc.. And you don't have to worry about your server going down. That does happen with VPS.
Those packages are not SSD servers. Speed is really important when it come to mobile. If you're only looking to host landing pages, it's best to host them on a CDN.
