Who tried to work both ways and compared the results? What is more effective in fact?
It is interesting to know the opinion of those that really tried it and worked enough for making some conclusions.
It was hard to start regulary work for it. It is easy to write content and add it, if you don't do optimization. Too hard to work with it when you are always thinking about optimization.
It is hard when you see this only as a work, but when it is a hobby it's much easier. Also depends on how much time you can spend working with you blog and must do it regularly.
If not Google than what? There must be from what to choose if you don't want to use Google.
There are some rules to obey and there wouldn't be any problems. What alternative may find besides Google?
