To be very honest, I don't think there is an alternative. In Bangladesh, Paypal is not supported and most of the times we can't buy any product/service from a website which has only paypal payment method enabled.
Payoneer is good. But sometimes they ask sender's personal information like driving license id, passport copy, etc. which is awful. We have clients from different countries and they are not bound to provide their personal information to Payoneer. Moreover, Payoneer is not very known to many of...

Yap. It is good strategy. You should start forum, blog under the same domain. Don't try to create your forum as a subdomain like forum.yourwebsite.com; Google will consider it as a unique domain
Try to use yourwebsite.com/forum - more SEO friendly and most effective.
