I used Font squirrel and Dafonts before Google Web Fonts became popular. The main reason I chose google web fonts is that it is hosted on Google , I don't have to care about the bandwidth and it is really easily to include a fond. Just takes two lines of code :)

HTML is a Markup language and a programming language. And it is not compared with C and PHP they are completely different. I think VB.net is easy to learn because the syntax of the language is simple and is like English.

Yes , I have tried PTC , GPT sites but it is a lot of work for me and doing surveys is just boring. I have also worked with CPA(Cost Per Action) and PPD(Pay Per Download) , they tend to pay than PTC sites.
I have never purchased backlinks for my blog , i do create them manually. Buying backlinks cost you more and you are not guarantied with quality backlinks. And most of the sellers I have contacted they spam links on other High PR blogs.
Most of the sites turn into scam after a few months or so . It is really hard to find websites that are legit and pay you promptly , I have found a few trust worthy sites in the past. But there is no way to get rich over night. Only hard work pays.
