    Pageviews and % Exit are most superficial you should be more worried about Goals and bounce rate. I check GA and gostats for these too and unique visitors too.

    Tracking ecommerce sales can be done using goals for thank you pages etc, you can create funnels and track each page too .. all popual web analytics tools like GA and gostats etc offer this.

    What is a bounced visit?

    Bounce rate is measured as number of people leaving your website from the first page itself by either using back button or closing it. You can measure this using available analytics programs. One I can suggest is gostats.

    Check the referring traffic and see if you have spam url driving traffic too. Also what's your bounce rate? Use some other tool like gostats and recheck the traffic if the bounce rate is too high or you are getting ref spam traffic.
