Most Significant SEO Update in the last 6 months?

I've been completely out of the SEO game for the above mentioned period of time because I was really depressed over Panda destroying each and everyone of my websites. Now that I have taken a break, I want to start again from scratch. I am just wondering what is the most significant SEO update...
