Seeking Help Getting Back Into Affiliate Marketing

Ok after a long hiatus from AFF marketing I am looking to get back into it and have a few questions. 1. Is it still possible to make income using websites? 2. What are the to 5 things I need to know that are different from AFF Marketing from say 2010. Any and all feedback is appreciated...

Attention: "role based name" email prefixes such as support, webmaster, info, contact, forum, service, affiliate, admin, traffic, partners, marketing, etc., for our member accounts are not permitted.
