Been doing a bit of delving into why our internal pages seem to have no PR.
Our site is built in ASP and, as I understand, in ASP you can enter the upper or lowercase URL name and still get to the same page. Apparently php will return a 404 on this?
Anyway, one of our URL's is...
I'm not overly fussed by PageRank but I was curious why none of my internal pages has any PR.
The homepage is PR3 but not even my top level categories show anything, just the greyed-out bar.
Any ideas why this would be?
Domain is: Catering Equipment | Restaurant Equipment | Catering Suppliers...
Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I couldn't think where to ask.
I'm trying to add a pound sign in my meta title. The character isn't recognised though. I can get round it by adding the html code £
I'm sure you can add a pound sign normally though. Where am I going wrong?
Cheers
Hi guys,
I'm looking to build a similar menu to the one used at the top of John Lewis - Free standard delivery on all orders
I need to be able to have multiple columns of options when you hover over the top level links.
Can anyone tell me how that one works or point me to a similar script...
haha, very true.
Nothing has changed, we still see no hits for these terms. I'll keep an eye on it.
As for the base feed...Google sent an e-mail out to everyone saying products in the Base feed must have the id attribute. We added it, so no issues there I don't think. There might be a few...
Can anyone explain this?
Up until a month or so ago we used to get good organic results from some really competitive keywords. Now this was strange in itself because I used to try putting these keywords in Google and we were certainly not near the top, sometimes nowhere to be found for these...
That's what I figured.
Turns out I was putting the html code to call the js in slightly the wrong place in the header. I moved it so it was directly before the </head> tag and it started working.
You have to be really accurate with that little blighter.
I just bought a Wii today - it's waiting at home.
I've never played on one, I've no idea what it does to be honest.
I'm such a sheep consumer. I heard they were all the rage so I got one. :(
I've read the guide on the wordpress site but I still don't follow.
Can't you just add the link to the js file in your header as you would a normal site?
You want your anchor text to target your main keywords most of the time. It helps to throw the odd one out there though to make your link building seem natural.
Hi guys, need some advice on something.
We currently have our site running from 2 different domain names. They both run a duplicate of exactly the same site. (Don't ask, this is the setup I found when I started here and I want to change it!)
Lets call them 'blue.com' & 'green.com'
green.com...
I don't have a personal blog, I've only just really started learning about blogging software so it's all new to me.
I've just started a business blog though so I have to put some real thought into what I post. From an SEO point of view and so my boss doesn't kick my ass for posting crap. haha
I had a cool idea for a website the other day but couldn't find a suitable domain to match the idea.
I'm sure there's one out there but you have to really put some thought in now. Everyone's got them all!
Very true.
I went to NY once and watched a Knicks game (basketball). That was very similar with all the stop-starts.
As soon as it gets interesting or 1 team starts to dominate, the others call a time-out!
Everyone goes to get hot dogs...
