Another question for you all, does the Alexa rank/rating mean anything to you? Since I've been keeping any eye on my company website (almost 2 months now) I've seen a rise in our rating from (I can't actually remember what it started at but think it was around 1.4 Million) to 734 Thousand...
I looked into this when I 1st started using Perl (way before I started PHP) and couldn't figure it out. Tried again yesterday and found it a lot easier.

Humous.
I've only got one site up and running at the moment and that's only a site I did for a mate.
I've got two sites in development and have been for months now as they haven't given me any content. Even the one I've said is finished isn't really finished, there's a section they were meant to supply...
Probably find most webmasters dislike Flash, technically it's not browser compatible although it's more of a historical thing, probably nearly everyone has it now and is common place.
I can't really help either, I can only do basic ads in Flash, but here are some links you might like:

school years - games
College years - porn
1st few (enthusiastic) years of work - check emails then look for porn
now - I'm boring so generally look up anything which interests me, so 1st site to visit is usually either this one or wikipedia (think I have enough porn now, despite a few "oops...
I use the same nickname on all forums, I have a different name for games "MajorGunz" but use Humous for games where I want to have a peacfull persona.

What I don't understand is that in this story they say they employ agressive hacker detection, so how did Gary McKinnon manage to go wondering around US Military networks without getting detected?
i can't remember the details of that case, might have been other departments.

I didn't realise it was law, I know a lot of large companies have this as set internal policy. I'm interested to know for sure.
I looked on Wikipedia Health and Safety Executive - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia which isn't particularily clear if this is the case, closest I can see is...

Macs are for people who don't want to know why their computer is working
Linux is for people who do want to know why their computer is working
Dos is for people who want to know why their computer isn't working
Windows is for people who don't want to know why their computers aren't working.
It's certainly getting there, apparently my (IT support) predecessor tried to convert all the desktops to linux, didn't work very well (this was a good few years ago). I gather there was an issue with https on clients.
I do believe Linux (desktop distributions) is almost viable as a desktop...
I was messing around with doing this a while ago.
3 problems though
1 - I didn't finish the project
2 - I had trouble dealing with different types of email (MIME, RTF, text), I'm not even sure what half of them are.
3 - It's in perl, which is fine if you have a linux box

I've just come across this article:
Jobs: one more thing... a browser war | The Register
I'll have to test their Beta version (which I assume runs on Windoze) but I'm fairly sure Safari is the browser which used to cause me grief on page designs when it came to javascript/div work.

Hi Bisje,
It loaded pretty quickly for me.
I like the background although it might be worth taking out the lighter patches at it makes it stand out that it's repeating, wheras if it is all one shade it should blend in more, worth a try anyway.
I'm impressed that it's your first attempt at a...
I've done quite well with training where I am now, as well as developing my own skills. I'm getting comfortable with php and am hoping to take on Flash in the near future.
I've got a couple of sites which I am now working on, which hopefully they'll ok the design in the next week or so then I...
