Very interested to see if other states outside of Massachusetts follow in line. I live in one of the highest sales tax states (Washington) so this could have huge impacts along with the already high 5% Paypal fees I pay. We'll see what happens.

You can be successful without Twitter and Facebook, it's by means a necessity. Youtube can make for an excellent social network alternative but again this isn't necessary either, just helpful.
