Despite having advocated for Bubblews in the past, after I made $500 on there, they decided to ban my account without any reason. I was waiting on a $100 redeem and after 2 weeks without seeing anything I emailed their support. They failed to reply so I sent a follow up email a few days later...
Depends on whether you are trying to take on the behemoths or if it is tailored to a specific niche. What can you offer that will be different? If you site grows to even tens of thousands of users, how will you be able to afford the infrastructure?
Maybe put the whole word 'Fox' above the word 'beard' and find a thicker or shadowed font. Make the trees the same green as the ribbon on the hat. I'm far from a designer...
I have still been getting paid by Bubblews. I treat it as a rather passive $5-10/day for writing 5-10 posts of 100 words about whatever thought passed through my mind at the time. As I now have a few hundred posts on there, I believe that I have built things up slowly enough to stay under the radar.
Unfortunately had to pay $10 in the past. Most recently my domain was free as long as I stick with my current hosting provider - sometimes this should be avoided but even if/when I change hosts the cost isn't much.
Never even heard of it before. I'll consider looking into it in the future. The fact that I haven't heard of it yet makes me wonder how effective it can be without having established brand awareness yet. Maybe I'm out of the loop though.
