And I was in no way saying that you should spin content. I'm just saying that they can't detect it right now, but that could change in the near future. Google is very good at getting SEO'd results out of their SE. And they will get better, make no mistake.
I no longer do SEO, paid...
In my humble opinion, Google can't detect spun content at all. Maybe they say they can, but I don't believe them. Sure, the Penguin update knocked all my sites out of G search results, but it was because of one thing...over optimized anchor text.
Here's how I know, all my crap...
That's the one redeeming quality about Adsense, you don't need sales; just clicks. I have a menopause site and it get's clicked away like crazy. Before all this clickbombing stuff started, I would get many clicks in excess of $2 and even $3. Now I'm lucky if I see anything over 50 cents...
The health niche isn't really that tough SEO-wise; as long as you're not trying to rank for "weight loss" or "menopause". The purpose of me starting this thread was to become less dependent on Google. And ppc/list building sounds like a great way.
The way it sits right now, my house...
You don't set up a Wordpress account. You install the WP software to your hosting account. Hostgator would probably walk you through it.
And for hosting, we're talking 5-10$ a month. That's less than a few Happy Meals...or a couple packs of cigarettes. With regards to Worpresss..I can't...
You should check this site out. KnowEm Username Check - Secure your Brand or Online Identity on Social Media I just found it today and it's really cool. They want you to sign up and outsource profile creation to them.
But if you enter in the username you want to use, they will check out all...

Sometimes, pages get an initial boost for certain terms in G, then they fall. Not sure why this happens.
Just build some links, and do other things to establish yourself in social media. I wouldn't mess with getting links from Craigslist.
If you have any other questions, just...
With regards to having a blog or forum, I agree with Minstrel 100%.
I checked out your page because I too am interested in health and workout related topics.
I am not an expert on landing pages (I'm working on it), but I can give you some feedback from a consumer point of view. And that's...
I guess the answer to your question really depends on what your goal is.
With regards to Hubpages. What kind of term is it showing up on the first page for? When I said I ranked my Hubpage quickly, I meant 3 weeks. I rarely rank anything on the first page in a few days.
In an earlier post...
I love Squidoo also, they don't care if you drop links. And they are very upfront about it. :D
I haven't made any money from Squidoo, probably because I use the Amazon module. Do you add your affiliate links in the text body, or use the Amazon/eBay modules?
I'm not sure what you mean by this.
Just post good content. Other Hubbers will see your hub and then vote it up, others will sign on to follow you. Put your keywords in the title tag and several times in the content.
To increase the Pagerank to your Hubs, just comment on other hubs. You...
That's crazy, I've never heard of Google sites until just now.
But if you're looking for a free site that will produce results, I would suggest Hubpages.
I have a Hubpage that ranks in the top 3 for a pretty good web hosting term.
Comment on other pages. This will produce a link to your...
