I like Forums, but the best is blog commenting. Find the best blogs by using google. search using "KeywordLuv" "dofollow" "your keywords" This will return blogs that will give you quality backlinks.

Can Twitter Really Generate Good Traffic Flow?

No backlinks I have been using Twitter and Twitwall for about 3 months now, and I haven't seen any linkbacks from anything except my signature.
