I really am not a fan of MTurk. I also find the work to be tedius. But I also find it quite boring and am someone who really likes a challenge. I have not used it in quite some time. Maybe I will check back to see if anything looks more interesting. Or if anything at least pays a little better.
I had not heard of this widget. How long have you been using it? I would love to hear from users.. They could share how effective it has been in increasing traffic and likes.
I have actually never paid for an ebook. I have downloaded quite a few free ones. If a book I really wanted was in ebook form I might buy. I do think there are e that like to buy ebooks though.
I will admit that I am not the best at link building. I try hard to improve my link campaign. I continue to feel like I have a lot of room for improvement. Are you successful at building links?
It is true that SEO is part of content. I, however, have noticed that a lot of people are too focused on SEO when they write content. They put a lot of concentration into using keywords often. They sometimes do this at the expense of good sounding content.
These are all great ways to get visitors to your website. I think, the more you customize a plan that works for you and your website, the better the outcome. This just is not always possible with paid advertising. I am not a fan of paying for advertising on the Web either.
This is quite the comprehensive listing of ways to get backlinks. There are some really great ones in there that people do not always think of using. I love the idea of asking other bloggers to Interview you. I have seen this done here and there and I really think it can be quite effective...
I think some sites do take advantage of people or situations. But I see it more as websites that charge a ridiculous price for something. There are sites, though that also give people misleading information. They are then abusive to consumers in that way. Some sites work to convince someone...
How often do you post something new on your Fanpage for Facebook? I see some FanPages that rarely ever have something different. There are others that have multiple posts throughout the day. I try to have something at least every few days. Should I have more?
Would you hire someone to manage your Facebook page? I know some companies that do? They hire a person who they think can write catchy statuses and such. This is not something that I would want to pay someone to do though.
Facebook has not brought in a ton of clients or work for me. But it has brought some. It is not high on my list of effective marketing and promotion. I do know that some people make Facebook an important part of their marketing plan.
I try to update once or twice per day. I think some people post too many statuses. I also think people find it more acceptable to post more often on Twitter. There are days when I do post more than usual.
I think for me the most effective method has been forum marketing. Of course, I always follow the rules of the forum. I work hard to be an active member. I try to reach out and help others. But, then I can establish myself as an expert and hopefully promote my business too.
I have not done this just yet. I think sometimes it would be helpful to boost my business. I just try not to go overboard with the social networking things. I wold love to hear form those who have shared their forum posts.
There seem to be so many ebooks out there. It seems that every other person I talk is creating one. If you write or have written them, what was your purpose? Do you sell them directly. Or where they part of a marketing plan to promote another business or product.
