YT marketing is hard after updates, it's very important to have solid account (preferably 5-10 years old) with some subscribtions or old videos. At least that's what I see when I check channels of big niches top 5. Lots of trial and error.
They believe in what other people spread. I've been hearing that blackhat SEO is dead since 2014 and guess what, the ones that told me this are still earning from it :) Learned my lesson hard way.
Good luck! Are you reposting your pages using social networks? Even if you don't have big profiles it shows Google that you're not just posting like zombie and maybe mighty hidden SEO can kick in! Following your journey.
I am also trying to start my blogging journey, I picked up lots of tips from this thread. Hardest choice is the keyword and content planning thing. I am trying to write a blog about gym and tech stuff, I also want to try crypto but these niches are really hard. Maybe some local SEO on the side...
If I were you I'd sign up for free SEMRush trial and do some basic keyword research (look for new niches with high volume and low CPC). Even if you don't find new niches you can compare the ones you had in mind.
1. Landing pages created on website builders are usually really slow or don't allow CPA offers.
2. Basic understanding of HTML (including some framework like Bootstrap or Tailwind) + CSS and a little bit of JS is more than enough :)
