I am going to cut through the b.s. for you here ...
You need, in my humble opinion, 100 articles per affiliate product to have a viable presence on the web. This does not mean you will not get any sales, but if you have no sales, keep writing.
Your first question is a good one. I go EZA...
I ahted to quote the whole post, but it was so relevant.
I agree. There are articles I wrote a year ago that are still getting huge traffic and making sales, and I have done NOTHING to them since.
The price we pay for using the article directories' sites is that they collect adsense...
JCorken is right.
Almost all my article titles START with my keyword.
But do not lose hope!
Page rank, SEO, Google and your customers are incredibly finicky.
What is page one today may not even have half the interest tomorrow.
Use your keyword early in the title, early (I like to lead...
I highly recommend doing the spinning yourself.
If you change just 30 - 35% of an article, you can usually submit it to the same site and get approved.

I fogot to mention that if the vendor is giving away a FREE e-course or something else on your aff page, you are probably losing sales to them.
A customer is ready to buy, then sees a FREE something, clicks on that, opts in to an email list, and goes back to their email to see what free stuff...
Sandra,
You answered your own question.
If you are getting a 60% ctr from your visitors, that is HUGE!

Other sites like AC do not mind 3% keyword density.
I have been most successful on EZA 9reaching page 1) with 1% KD and 350 -500 words, keyword EARLY in title...
Instead of worry about their increasingly stringent requirements, I just moved on.
I recently hit page 1 #5 with an article posted to associated content ...
Ezinearticles denied another attempted submission of mine, so I made a Squidoo lens with it.
There are plenty of directories and...
Rodman,
I am amazed by the difference between me now and 1 year ago.
The time is going to pass anyway, so why not stick with it?
You will be glad you did.

I would have started sooner!
I would have started sooner! I waited until I knew just about all I could know, THEN got started article marketing.
I missed several weeks of having my articles out there working for me.
My advice is to start NOW, regardless of your lack of knowledge.
Good...
Good advice? Ready - Fire - Aim!
look, When I started out, I wante dto be perfect, so I missed several weeks trying to reach perfection.
All that time I could have had a few articles out there working for me!
T you newbies, I say this.
JUST DO SOMETHING!
It is okay if your articles are...
