The article title is not the same as the H1 tag. Both title and H1 tag should include your keyword. H2 and H3 are still good to use, but I do not know about 4-6. Maybe use them to organize your blog to be more readable. Remember when blogging, write for the reader and just keep those SEO...
We will never get ahead of Google. The days of manipulating search engines are over. You just have to put in the effort to make good quality content for your customers via blogging etc etc.
You should definitely target long tail keywords if you are a beginner. Focus on keywords that are 3 words or greater. Then move on to the more competitive keywords. Hope that helps!
