    At the end of the day it's all about list building and advertising. If I've got their email address and they get to see (and perhaps click on) a few ads, then I'm happy. Usually a handful of users do all the posting and the rest are inactive and that's OK. They're still useful.

    I built up a reasonably big forum that way, but it's a lot of work and it's a thin line to walk. If you get caught then your members will immediately lose faith in the forum and all will be lost. Good luck.

    Let us know how these have worked for you. I'd love to trust backlink generators, but thus far haven't found one that actually produces valuable backlinks. The numbers sound impressive. Perhaps these are different.
