Why Can't I Sign Up For POF

Hi everyone,

Today, I wanted to try advertising on PoF. But I can't find the "Create your first ad" button?!

Is it because i'm not from the US?

Someone please help me!

@benpof comes around the forum and may help with this. From your screenshot though, it appears you weren't logged in. That may be the simple answer.

Do I have to sign up for a normal pof account before I can sign up for an ad account?

I tried creating a normal pof account but I've tried for about 45 minutes to create a username. No matter how unique the username is, it says the username is taken.

I haven't done any POF for a few years now. I don't believe you are required to have a membership, but it helps to have one so that you can learn how they work inside with ads. If you are continuing to have this issue, when opening an ads account, then you should shoot a quick email to the support department. Try that and let us know what happens.

Did they say for how long? It could just be temporary. It is possible they need time to regroup and improve their system. It does not make sense to stop new advertiser to give them more money.

There has to be a reason for this.
