What to include in email, legally!

Does anyone have any tips or guides on what I need to include in my emails to be compliant?

Compliant with the FTC, you mean? Compliance in the US is different than for Canada. Not sure about other countries.

I think that if you go for DOI and be specific about what they're signing up to get and the frequency, you'd be safe for North America, at least. Also, save proof of IP and sign up date. That should cover your butt I would think.
