What are some ways to reward users?

I have just been thinking about ways of rewarding users, Amazon gifts and other gift cards are in mind but are people still interested in gift cards? Does this still work for incentives but has this been gathering dust for a while? I know it received quite a bit of traction way back when but is it still good now?

Seeing if there are any dicounts on gift cards can also be a good way to save money, managed to get 20 £20 Amazon cards the other day for £15 each as a bulk discount
