Web Directory submissions

Hi

I was going through approving my web directory submissions and came across submissions from The AA and Powergen energy.

What kind of companies have you had submitting to your directory?

Thanks

I come across lots of big names too and the funny think is that they want free inclusion, I usually just laugh and reject their submission. They don't give me free service, especially my bank Natwest, they submit their website to Definiteweb last week

I agree Temi, large companies like Natwest should be paying :)

But they may have paid a marketing copmpany to do the marketing for them.

Many companies large ones that is, have SEO's working for them, who in turn submit to directories and everywhere they can.

I have not got any so called "big names" so far. But, I do add big names (01 per catagory) on regular basis for free.

Generous Maldives, and why do you do that, to give your directory more credibility?
I will add non profit making big name for free but I will not add commercial organisations like banks etc for free, even if the directory is free.

Hmm is it a good idea to include certain authority websites for free?

I've had plenty of authority p0rn and drugs sites submit, but not any real world authority sites that I'm aware of...
