Using tokens and subids etc

Hey Attila, read one of your blog posts the other day. VERY HELPFUL.

Would you be able to explain in an even simpler way what tokens and subids are and how to use them? Preferably with adsbridge if you have any experience of using it.

Thanks

Sure

Lets say you are advertising on Google.

They have dynamic tokens, which get filled in automatically depending on where your banner ad might be clicked on.

Let's say someone saw your banner ad on cnn.com, clicked it.

If you looked in your tracker, for placement it would say cnn.com, because their system automatically filled in the website URL (placement) where they clicked your banner.

There are many tokens from website URL, to device type, OS, screen size, carrier, banner/creative ID and many more.

Tokens are useful in telling you where most of the conversions/sales come from through adsbridge.

SUBIDS are automatic "SERIAL #s" each visitor get tagged with when they click a banner and go through your cloaker to the offer landing page.

If they convert, then adsbridge gets notified by the affiliate network that serial # (subid XYZ) converted, and then it updates that there was a conversion from that visitor, displaying in the system that the tokens who sent the visitor are responsible for a conversion.

Hope that makes sense
