Yep, its yours so you do w/e you want with it after you buy it. Be sure to check other sites of Evanto's network.

How about the license agreements etc?

For example i run a website development company could i purchase a theme for a client and edit it to suit there needs?

Yeah i read it but its worded horribly! lol

So basically if i buy it i can do whatever i like with it in one place.

If i buy the exclusive license i can use it as many times as i want?

You can use it as much as you want, there is no system that logs on how many web sites you use their 'work'.

before buying you can download allmost any theme by googling:
    " (htm|html|php)intitle:”index of" + “name of the theme” (zip|rar) "
it works if someone didn't set his access rules properly. For more popular themes you will always find someone like that.
It depends on your conscience if you buy it after testing.

If you buy a theme from ThemeForest (for yourself or a client) you can edit it as you see fit. If you are going to use it on multiple sites you should buy a license for each site you place it on. From what I can tell, that would be much cheaper than buying the Extended License.
