The Best Free Blogging Alternative to HubPages, or WP dot Com

It's not that I'm cheap, but I'm on a fixed income of $1,000/mo., and webhosting has a few priorities ahead of it, if you catch my drift. It SUX that selfish people ruined HubPages for the rest of us. I was thinking of simply using their high-traffic as my website and posting my affiliate links on there. They allow Amazon, and I have an Amazon link, but I'm looking for beefier commissions, and I have other links as well. As for WP, I'm assuming if I went that route I would use dot com, as opposed to org. Correct me if I'm wrong. Anywhere else, I'm assuming FREE means NOT owning my own domain. Pls advise, and thanks for any.

Free domains suck for high volume ad network traffic.
Free domains suck for SEO organic traffic too.
Free domains suck for learning real HTML or any coding skills because they don't have PHP or MySQL (etc.) available.

So, if you want to just experiment --that's very limited.

You probably need to spend on a server, a real one, a VPS server will work. If you can't use SSH and need a dashboard GUI it will cost under $50 mo.
