    Hey,

    It's true. Search engines love static URL's i.e:

    URL's like /i-went-to-a-vacation.

    When you use such a URL it helps search engines to index it faster :)

    Also, you should always add alt attribute to the Img HTML which usually names the image. The tag:

    <img src=url here alt=name here>

    Adding the alt tag will help search engines to index the images faster :)

    I agree about the URL's

    /dvd/zztop.html

    is much better than

    /search?m=dvd&s=zztop

    for the search engines

    I think for Flash you need to design a part of the site that is purely text for the search engines, and then use that to link into the Flash site...maybe something like a forum would be useful.

    Search engines cannot read, index, or follow flash links. You should use flash elements in conjunction with plain html text copy and text links.
