Shameless Sinner Seeks to Diversify

Hi - I am Kate and I am a CSS/HTML programmer and SEO specialist. I have worked in affiliate marketing of adult sites, but want to diversify out of adult. I guess I will have to read to see what this forum considers "adult" to be. I am not going to hestitate to promote programs that sell things that you could buy at Barnes and Noble. This include softcore, art and erotic stories.

I think that the explosion of hardcore is directly related the segregation of all things "adult". If all sex stuff is "bad" why not be "really, really bad" since it does not matter to the Puritans? Therefore, I ask for acceptance as someone who may ask questions pertaining to adult entertainment - but very much in the mainstream, PG-13 variety.

Hi ya Kate, you Shameless Sinner you!

Welcome to 5 star. I am definately not a Puritan and don't personally have a big problem with adult sites or content. However I have large brand, family-friendly clients like National Geographic that would object and a "clean" rep to uphold so adult content is not allowed. A little PG 13 is fine. Some jokes I tell are even a little borderline. :p So I won't be a prude but will draw reasonable lines. Sound fair?

One thing you may REALLY want to consider though is not just an email address in forums. Bots can get your email address and you will get overrun with spam.
