Welcome to the Affiliate Industry Events & News Forum. Here are some rules specific to this forum.

EVENTS

Like our other discussion forums, links to your own site are not allowed. The exception for this is that if it's a major industry event that you are the official spokesperson for. (Or are the event owner)

Example: Shawn Collins could post an announcement about Summit. Wade Tonkin could post about CAMA (Christian Affiliate Marketing Association) but John Doe could not post and link to his site to advertise a seminar about how to make an ebook.)

Announcements of small niche meetings or seminars for affiliates are allowed. Small meetings outside of affiliate marketing are not allowed.

Example: We are having a networking dinner for affiliates in the New York area is fine. Come to my seminar about ebooks or anyone want to get together to talk about blogging would not be allowed.

Announcements about major events even if they are not directly affiliate marketing related, but are Internet Marketing, SEO or Blogging related are allowed. Example BlogWorld, WebmasterWorld Pubcon, Internet Retailer conferences are the type of major events that could be posted.

INDUSTRY NEWS

Please only post MAJOR Affiliate Marketing news that affects our industry.

Example: The New York Tax issue and news about a new affiliate marketing association
are good examples of what should be posted in this forum.

If it's Yahoo news, best to post in the SEO section
If it's Firefox News post in the Internet Issues forum
