Internet marketers - of which areas ever - always act in a commercially sense, i.e. they can make money with their activities on the Internet.

Therefore it is recommended to have not only the relevant Legal Data available on your own websites, but also on all of your for commercial advertising used pages on Facebook.

For countries like Germany, Austria and Switzerland the 'Legal Note' is even mandatory for all commercial Facebook pages.

In the following a short guide how to integrate a 'Legal Note' on a Facebook page.

There are basically two options: Either you link directly to the Legal Data on your homepage or on one of your websites - or you create a special Facebook page solely and exclusively with your Legal Notes as content, and then link all your other commercially used Facebook pages to this 'Legal Note Facebook page'.

The advantage of the link to the Legal Data on one of your websites: The sensitive data of Legal Notes can be easily excluded and thus protected from the results pages of search engines (SERPs) by using a robots.txt file in the root directory of your database.

How to insert a 'Legal Note' link on a Facebook page:

In the 'Info' section of your Facebook page you put a new link, baptized on the name 'Legal Note' or whatsoever ...
This link must then be connected with the corresponding Legal Note page on your website or your 'Legal Note Facebook page'.

That's all. Sounds more complicated than it is ;)

As mentioned above, for countries such as Germany, Austria and Switzerland this is mandatory for all commercially used Facebook pages.

For other countries it's always recommendable to have this Legal Data aboard.
Thus, you are always on the safe side ;)

@Marc - sounds like a FB site, rather than a page. Guess, in a way, it is.

It's not easy keeping up on all the constant changes online, so thanks for doing it for us! :)
