Can someone explain how and what keywords and SEO are used for?

Keywords are basically terms or words that people search for on the internet.

Say for example I went to google and search for "Affiliate Marketing"

Affiliate marketing would be the keyword.

Now let's say I run a website about affiliate marketing, I'd want to get "keyword relevant" users to my site.

This means i'd get relevant and targeted people to my site - I do that by targeting the keywords that people will be searching for on Google.

I'd then look at improving my keyword ranking (the position my site shows on google results) for that specific keyword.

That is done by various SEO methods.

Keywords its to specific which keywords your website are talking about and seo mean Search engine optimization it means simply to appear in the first ranks in google for your keywords
