Yeah SEO is one of my favourite ways to generate commissions... mostly because the traffic is free and once it's set up it can generate commissions on autopilot.

Don't scrap social media altogether though, mix all the skills together... combine an excellently SEO'd site with some killer promotion of the social networks whilst also building a mailing list and you can can make some serious bank
