If you are promoting with 7Search use both! You can sometimes find some gems on GKT that don't have much competition on 7Search. It doesn't hurt to search both!

I usually stick to the 7Search tool. They know what keywords are getting searches and provide you with the data as you search. I've also been messing with trending searches (full disclosure: my abandoned site, but has good data),but it seems just because something is trending in Google does not mean it's trending in 7Search lol
