Good night all (well at least here is night),
just joined this community since i'm getting prepared to break into the world of mm.

I work as a analyst\software engineer (developed also some android apps) full time for a big company thus i'm really into any technological things and not only since i love everything adrenalinic (car racing,moto, kytesurf, mountainbiking,photography and travelling).

I follow since almost one year servandosilva blog , overall the SEO section and reading some of his posts one day, i found that he was also into the mobile marketing world, and started to read here and there about everything that was hidden behind that title.

You may ask why even having a good work (it's, nothing to say) you are trying to spend the few free time you have (overall in the evening\night) into this adventure?

Well i'm in vacation and this summer i decided to stay at home without spending money or so cause i wanted to get some details and knoweledge about anything that could bring me away from the country where i live, a work that i can do from wherever i'm (i love travelling) and that could give me the possibility to manage my time in the way i choose.

That's sayd, i go to sleep and hope to find out other great articles, walktrough, tips , tricks and overall understand if i'm able to bring this to an acceptable level.

I want to say thanks in advance to all people putting efforts in sharings theyr adventures and suggestions, giving to us "newbie" a better control over this frenetic world.

All you have to do is:

As a Newbie, you need to read, study, invest, and implement. Perseverance, dedication, and taking action are the cornerstones of the success you will obtain.

Read
Read through the various areas of the forum to learn about the types of marketing available for your new business. Make a list of all the types of marketing and take some notes along the way. Then determine which area of marketing with which you will start your journey.

Do this to select an area of marketing to start, as well, do this to select a tracker, a traffic source, and to select a vertical.

Then read up on the affiliate networks and select two to begin with that will serve your needs and the types of offers you would like to promote. Put your application in and they will call you for an interview. Thanks for your warm welcome and hot suggestions.
Somehow i had yet in mind what to do, as for now i'm just discovering in wich area i would like to operate, fighting between mobile and web.

I tell this cause i'm that user that hate so much mobile ads, while on web i'm quite used, but that's me and probably the "mass" of normal users doesnt think like this but anyway still trying to decide wich one to choose.

A quick question, for web marketing i believe it's not of vital importance using a vps network right?
