Has anyone else experienced a significant drop in sales over the month of September?

Hey All!

After running our numbers for the month of september I realized our Affiliates sales are down in by 15.5%. Has anyone else experienced a sizable drop in their sales lately?

Any ideas why? Could it be seasonal drop because of Halloween?

There are so many factors that come in to play it would really be hard to answer. Did ou have a change in inventory, did you raise your shipping prices, did you change your coupons (others expire). Did you have a couple of top affiliates that have moved on to other merchants. That in itself can really make an impact on the numbers. Also, if you have dozens of affiliates making sales versus hundreds, the numbers can change from month to month easily. This is all true in the beginning of an affiliate program as many affiliates come in to test the waters.

I've noticed it. Though things ebb and flow, this flow keeps on flowing.

But, fear not! Christmas is around the corner!

As soon as we get a really good cold front through the majority of the US, sales will increase because people will stay inside and inside means surfing the net! Watch and see. BTW, mine is down just about that much across the board for both affiliate and e commerce.
