Gaming App Installs - The proper approach?

Hey guys, just some questions for those who have successful ran gaming app installs before.

Do you get better results from direct linking or landing page?
Do you use app or web traffic?
Do you only target Wifi traffic if the file size is > 25mb?
Do you test peak traffic (day parting 6pm onwards) from the start?

Thanks for your input. Does your affiliate network have a lot of apps to promote? I am thinking of trying out Airpush or Startapp traffic.

We have just started onboarding of offers yet,and it will be few more days we make it openly available for publishers.
Since I'm a 9-to-5 IT Professional by Job, I'm finding less time to look into the matters of our network.
Will soon start onboarding quality offers for Mobile so that Publishers can promote.

Sure, looking forward to join your network. Do you know of any good traffic source for app installs? I know you recommended Startapp but seems like competition is getting higher there and I hardly get any traffic from bidding 2-3 cents higher for APAC traffic.
