Finding Niches in Mobile Search for Pay Per Call

Affiliates already know that they can't afford to market to everyone, you need to find your niches, angles and market segments.

This is no different with pay per call marketing. Your PPC campaigns need to be focused on a niche, long tail or promoted with a "hook" or "angle".

However, when promoting a pay per call campaign on mobile search, it's difficult to utilize long-tail keywords, since many mobile users won't enter more than 2-4 keyword searches.

You can try a few different tactics to get around this and find a niche.

1. Add localized keywords to your campaign, "plumber seattle", "home security in nyc", "lawyer near los angeles", etc.

2. Use suffixes and pre-fixes on broader, high volume, more expensive search terms, like "car insurance help", "find car insurance", "new car car insurance", "car insurance after accident".

3. Find a campaign that is already in it's own niche, and market within a niche or angle for that campaign.

In my opinion, number 3 is the most ideal, but not the easiest to find. You would need to look for different and even odd campaigns that you don't see other Affiliates promoting and try to develop and own an angle within it.

Campaigns like - "car rental", "basketball hoop installation", "junk removal", "trucker jobs", etc. There will be less competition and you can really own your niche within a niche.

Also, if there is competition it will likely be from an inexperienced marketer at a small business, not an expert or agency.

Luckily for you, the pay per call industry is growing rapidly and there are new and unique advertisers jumping on board all the time. Many of these are outside the traditional affiliate marketing categories we're all too familiar with.
