Everyone know long tail has less and less competitor as well as highly targeted. Am I wondering do you make a plan for a backlink in the case of the long tail keyword?

Yes, for every keyword you have to create some backlink to remain stable in the search engine. If competition is high, you have to create more backlink.

Is there any rules that I should follow or must to create backlinks for some sites. For example Reddit, StumbleUpon, etc.?

Yes to stay in competition you need to target different long tail keywords and phrases for better ranking.

It is all about having ways in which you will be found stable by the search engine through its crawls. Back links are very essential that is if well used. They can improve the visibility of the ads and pages on-line within a very short period of time. However, be sure that you understand well what it takes sos as to avoid being flagged.

The kind of backlinks you create is as important as the backlinks themselves.

The backlinks should come from relevant websites which have high authority on the topic/keyword you want to rank for.
