Do you need a traffic distribution by gender, age or interests?

Nowadays, every tracker provides options to distribute traffic by GEO, OS, browsers, devices, IP, etc. All these data is detected by referring to various databases and IP devices.

It’s quite simple, right?

And what if we add the ability to distribute traffic by gender, age and interests? We can also get these data through integration with DMP platforms.

What do you think of that? Would you use these options?

Very interesting question!
Since most of the marketing methods changed from traditional methods to E- marketing methods, it is obvious that their DMP tracking have been changed as well. Although, in many countries Data management Platforms follows their E-Marketing and Online marketing, there are some companies which, are using traditional marketing for their specific products. And they try to get their required data based on their target market demographics ( Age, Occupation, Interest, etc).

Having said that, based on the product/service that wants to be in the market for their specific target market, I would choose DMP to get the right and relevant data.

Really appreciate your reply @yesuplizard, that's very useful info!
We are thinking of adding such features to platform:)

Most advertisers only want to target on "hard" metrics such as Language, GEO, OS, browsers, devices, IP

Targeting on "soft" factors such as interest is very subjective and really only possible with Facebook.
Targeting on age is only 100% possible with email marketing, with display traffic it can give an estimation in the sense that you can target, for example, women by putting banners on fashion sites but still men can access the site and click on the banner.

Agree, thanks for your feedback:)

I think there is never to much options for affiliate marketing. So, smb needs age and interests options to distribute traffic, the other use only hard factors, depending on the results they want to get and the niche they work in. But the most important that all of that you can do in a single UI.;)
