Hi all,

I'm busy writing my first blog post on what affiliate marketing is and need some guidance on link building.

Should I always add internal links to all of my other blog posts?

How do I go about inserting external links in my blog? Which words and sources should I target?

1. the http is assumed to be the same as your domain so if both are https // is fine
2. rel="nooper nofollow" nooper is tell no referrer (that's your domain) if the link is not marked nofollow the SE bots will assume you want that link followed (that's you decision re the SEO aspects)
3. target="_blank" (the link opens in a new window/tab) if not present target="_parent" is assumed

How do I go about inserting external links in my blog?

Keywords are not important to your links out --a description that is useful to the person reading/visiting your page is.

Which words and sources should I target?

I have been coding HTML in a text editor for years.
you can manually edit in text with the wordpress editor also --wordpress defaults to noopener now I think
If when you default to noopener, that 'cloaks' (hides) the referrer of the link; you may have problems with some affiliate programs --as they want to see that your source is brand-safe and approved of. noopener is a double edged sword.
