I'll try keep this brief, my only intention is to get a $3000 prepayment back from Arviate - i'm sure they have their own reasons for how they've handled the situation, maybe inexperience, negligence or just being disrespectful. However, if someone can help me get the issue resolved, i'll chalk it up to a "misunderstanding" and remove all of these posts on various websites.

Usually it's the affiliate networks who lose out because advertisers no longer wish to pay and become completely unresponsive. It's rare to find stories of affiliate networks screwing advertisers out of money but after over a month of being ignored by Arviate, this is part one of two last resorts - the second being legal action, letters have just been sent - that in itself is wasting even more time but again last resorts are what they are.

My casino client agreed to work with Arviate after they boasted about their high volume casino traffic. Arviate / James Portelo, demanded a "test" prepayment of $3000 for traffic and understandably so, the CPAs are high. The prepayment was sent and James Portelo assured the traffic will go live soon.....

- After a week, curious, my client asked Arviate where the traffic was - no response on the phone, email or Skype.
- After several weeks, still no replies and no traffic has been sent, not even one click.
- Over a month goes by and after escalating things and requesting a refund to Arvie Bibanco Vallo - we get a weak reply from James telling us that his boss has contacted him, he has had a rough couple of weeks but will get the campaign live soon.

Cliffnotes:
- Arviate took a $3000 prepayment for traffic
- To date failed to deliver any clicks or leads
- Unresponsive and ignoring all communication
- Seemingly refusing to refund the prepayment

If anyone has a way of contacting these guys, i'd be happy to jump on a call to get this resolved. Or if someone knows them personally, get them to handle this please. As stated, my only intention is to get the $3000 back and I will happily remove all posts in lieu of a "misunderstanding".

Thx CpaFix community!

There are a few collection agencies that work with only these types if cases so it may be an option...hopefully it won't come to that. It would be really pathetic for you to lose out not to mention your already wasted time. not sure why some networks can't just start off small and ramp it up. I personally would not work with any type of advertiser who doesn't give you the option to start off small...but 3k might be small depending on the promotion.

I've heard 3-4 stories about them before. And none of them were positive. Lesson of the day is - stick with the established networks.
