I've never used it but I did find an article on SEMRush:
Make Money with Snapchat: The Ultimate Guide

Basic points in the article:

• SnapChat gets an estimated 100 - 200 million users per month
• First thing to do - build an audience (no limit)
  
• Consistently create great content
• Animals and attractive women are two topics that work everywhere universally
• Post some content that is more personal, too - pic of pet, that sort of thing
• You should post your Snapcode everywhere you can
• Buy or exchange shoutouts
• Market offers with expiry angle - "Limited time offer," "Discount today only" - stuff like that
• Half of SnapChat's users are 13-24 years of age

It is a new niche that is just getting stable. This means that not very many marketers have ventured in this area. I will therefore personally recommend the platform even though I have not had any experience there. All I know is that you will gain more before the marketers crowd in the place. You therefore better make a move now.
