Inspired by the "An AMs Greatest Hits" thread I became interested in the question of how does one qualify to be an Affiliate Manager?

What do the networks usually look for in the person they choose to representh them to users?

What are the qualifications neccesary to become an AM?

Also, what exactly does an AM do other than catering to the affiliates of the network?
