Adult media buy, first attempt

Inspired by K's case study i decided to give it a try, I bought a placement on JuicyAds that said i would get over 150k Impressions per day. Almost half the traffic was from the UK, so decided to give a hot UK adult dating offer that i have been told was killing it.
Placement was $63 per week,

Results.
Day one (not the whole day tho, thought it was 24h periods, looks like it isnt)
110,203K impresions 44 clicks on the J.A. dashboard 24 on my network (losing clicks as the offer is only UK :(. Not one conversion.

First day i tested 3 banners, first two where pretty bad, 0.03% CTR, third was a bit decent, uped .04%.
So far today 66,435imp 0.07 and 44 clicks JUST 8 in my Network.
Im direct linking, so im gonna build a LP to test.

Thinking of going for another offer that accepts traffic from more countries even tho it might not be as hot right now (epc wise).

Will keep posted

Yeah i would always use an offer that excepts the main countries, for example JustHookUp is always great especially if you can get hold of the Social media landing pages etc......you have to also think about catering to your niche, so what kind of site is it? straight up porn tube?

And yes also test creatives - keep it simple, what size do you have?

I did this last month on juicy with justhookup and test about 5 different 300x250

My ROI was negative but I think that was dude to the fact that the sites i choose on juicyads where not the best.

I think i spent $60 and only made $30 back so negative %50

I have been tweaking and added an LP, im starting to see a slight surge in CTR (almot double than first day, still low tho). Feeling positive. Have learned A LOT.

New banner improved ctr dramaticlly (around three fold) but something is wierd, got over 100 click in my Juicy panel, but just 5 in my network and few as well seem registered on my prosper. What might be going on? I direct linked again to see if it still shows that way.

That would be down to your landing page, the clicks are getting lost...so you either need to switch your lander (dw i will be selling cheap high end landing pages soon) OR switch to direct linking again - any conv yet?

Well there seemed to be something wierd going on with the redirects so, my clicks got loss alot. So far i have gotton a whooping ONE conversion.
It financially has been a flop SO FAR, but otherwise a success because i have learned so damn much, it cant be compared to just reading and "research". In the aspect im pretty happy, great learning experience.

Excellent way to look at it, and that HOW you should - its all about testing and learning!

You should start with optimizing for the click. Try to make your ad resemble the site it's on in Photoshop or use fiver. ! Then try (example) if the sites name was Google
A special offer for Google visitors somewhere on the advert. I found if you send them to a squeeze with a free gift then sell them on back end to be a better strategy for me. I hope this helps
