I think it would depend on how many VMs the Spy companies use and your frequency cap. For example if your frequency cap is set to 1 per day and they have 100 VMs you could theoretically pay for 100 views a day that are spy traffic.

I have a windows 7 VM that I have installed the Arcade Safari software on. I have left it on the internet for multiple days. I have disabled Windows Firewall and Defender. I have surfed many sites and have yet to see one pop up.
